Looking for a Solution for the Rising Costs of College

11 12 2008

These days, four years at a university can cost as much as a pretty sweet ride. However, it is becoming more of a status quo than just an advantage to have a bachelors degree. Lacey, like many students, is taking out loans to pay for college herself. However, after two years the costs began to add up quickly so she had to drop out of school and work to pay off her loans. She tells us how she feels about the rising demand for a degree that many cannot afford, and whether she thinks someone can still be successful without a degree.

Meet OU sophomore Ciara Cornelius. She works two jobs, goes to school full-time, is very involved on campus, and still manages to have a great social life. Click on her video to hear her story of how the rising costs of college have affected her and what she thinks about it.
